Placeholders let you personalize a template message by inserting the client’s name, your name, your company name, etc. Full Slate automatically replaces the placeholder with the real text before sending the message.
For example, if a message template starts with "Dear {name}," Full Slate automatically fills in the client's name so it reads, "Dear John," (or whatever the recipient's name is).
Placeholders are surrounded by brackets in a message template. If you add one, it must be typed precisely as shown. Available placeholders include:
{name} - First name of the client. Each recipient see their own name, so Lisa Jones sees “Lisa” in hers and Jim Collins sees “Jim” in his.
{last name} - Last name of the client
{full name} - Just like {name} except it includes both first and last name.
{my name} - First name of the Full Slate user who sends the message.
{my full name} - Just like {my name} except includes both first and last name.
{company name} - Name of your company as entered under Setup > Company.
{company link} - Link to your landing page for booking appointments as found under Web > Landing Page.
{company phone} - You company's phone number as entered under Setup > Company.
{company email} - You company's email address as enteredunder Setup > Company.
{review link} - Link to a page that allows the client to enter a testimonial for your business.
Additionally, some placeholders only apply to email regarding a specific appointment. These placeholders are:
{day} - the date of the appointment
{time} - the time of the appointment
{end time} - the time at which the appointment will be complete
{length} - the duration of the appointment
{price} - the price of the appointment
{appointment link} - a link that allows your client to cancel or reschedule the appointment
{services} - the names of the services to be performed at the appointment
{provider name} - First name of the person that will perform the service, as set under Setup > Staff.
{provider full name} - Just like {provider name} except includes both first and last name, as set under Setup > Staff.
{provider email} - The email address of the provider on the appointment, as set under Setup > Staff.The following are only available in emails regarding a specific location:
{provider phone} - The phone number of the provider on the appointment. This will pull from the mobile number set under Setup > Staff first, unless that provider is a registered user and has a different mobile number set under Account > My Profile, in which case that number will be used.
If you have added one or more locations on the company details page you can also include information related to appointment location. The following are only available in emails regarding a specific location:
{location} - the name of the location, generally only useful if you have multiple locations
{directions link} - a link to an online map the user can use to create directions to the location
{address} - the street address of the location
{city} - the city of the location
